We have recently started to carry many Sulfate free (also known as sodium lauryl sulfate) products in our salon. Sodium lauryl sulfate is an ingredient that has been used in hair products for many years. This ingredient is used as a cleaning agent and also helps to create lots of suds.

Many manufacturers use sulfate in garage cleaners, engine degreasers, and many other harsh cleaners.
